Who says we don’t build things in America anymore…
In fact, we build more deadly weapons than any other country in the world…by a long shot. The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) just released a new report detailing the arms expenditures throughout the world – and no other country even came close to matching the U.S military industrial complex.
Sales by U.S.-based arms producers accounted for 58 percent of the total arms sales of the Top 100.
Here’s the rest of the top 10:
1. USA
2. Russia
3. Germany
4. France
5. China
6. United Kingdom
7. Spain
8. Italy
9. Ukraine
10. Israel
In fact, of the top 10 weapons manufacturers in the world, 7 are located in the U.S. Here are the top 5 U.S. arms makers, from the SIPRI report.
